Kathmandu: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has issued a weather advisory indicating the likelihood of gusty winds in certain provinces of Nepal.

The forecast suggests that the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, with generally fair conditions in the remaining parts of the country.

During the afternoon, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in isolated areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces. Additionally, there may be light snowfall in some high hilly and mountainous regions.

Thunderstorms are anticipated in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, and Lumbini provinces, with a possibility of gusty winds in select locations of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, with the likelihood of light snowfall in certain high hilly and mountainous areas.

Over the next 24 hours, there may be light rain with thunder and lightning in isolated places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces. Similarly, thunderstorms are possible in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, and Lumbini provinces, along with the chance of light snowfall in certain high hilly and mountainous regions.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has advised the public to remain vigilant, as the weather conditions may have a partial impact on agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road, and air transport, as well as daily life activities in these areas.
